Sunday 6 September. One venue, one afternoon, and four different ways to spend it.
Six-Tricks is a working distillery in Mermaid Beach, so Father's Day here is not a set menu and a time slot. Doors open at one. Harry Lamb plays from three until six. In between, three sessions run through the distillery, and every one of them puts a table in the venue with your name on it afterwards.
Book an experience, or just book a table and enjoy the afternoon.

1:30pm: Cocktail Class, $79 per person
Ninety minutes, two cocktails, both of them made by him rather than for him.
You'll build a classic gimlet, which is a lesson in why three ingredients are harder than twelve, and our signature espresso martini, which is the one people ask us about most.
Includes a drink on arrival and a short walk through the working distillery so you know where the spirit in your glass came from. Finishes at three, which is exactly when Harry Lamb starts, and your table in the bar is already booked.
2:30pm: Tour + Tasting, $49 per person
Forty-five minutes spent on the distillery floor and tasting our unaged spirit range.
Unaged is where a distillery has nowhere to hide. No barrel to lean on, no oak to cover a rough cut. What you taste is the raw material, the ferment and the decisions made at the still, and nothing else.
The flight:
- Premium Vodka
- Coolangattan Gin
- Silver Cane Spirit
Includes a welcome drink and a table in the bar afterwards, which lands you in the front half of Harry Lamb's set.
BOOK THE 2:30PM TOUR + TASTING →
4:30pm: Tour + Whisky Tasting, $69 per person
This is the one to book if he takes whisky seriously.
Nothing in this flight has been released. These are casks still being argued about internally, still months away from a label. Forty-five minutes, three unreleased expressions, and the last session of the day:
- Single Malt
- Bourbon Style
- Australian Whisky
Includes a welcome drink, pizza and share plates, and a table in the bar for the last stretch of the music.
Harry Lamb, 3pm Until 6pm
Free to watch, but book a table.
Three hours of live music in the bar. If a session is not your thing, this is reason enough on its own: get a table, order from the kitchen, and let the afternoon go long.
Tables go before the sessions do. Bookings are highly recommended.
